With the passage of ACT 164, towns and villages across the state will begin to decide if they want to “Opt-in” to allowing the recreation sale of Cannabis in their municipality. Our staff has created this fact sheet in an effort to help better educate residents before they cast their ballot. ACT 164 is a complex and dense law that still has a long road ahead before we will truly have a complete idea of what recreational sales will look like.

In addition to this resource, we also found these materials to be helpful in better understanding ACT 164s complexities:

As more resources are developed, and as we learn more about how the CCB will administer Cannabis sales, we will continue to update this resource list.
