The Community Hope and Action group of Townshend will be putting on a free supper and concert on January 16th from 6-9pm at the Townshend Town Hall! Local band, Eddy and the Giants, will be performing classic country and blues music. This is an alcohol-free, family friendly event with childcare provided. The Community Hope and Action group created this series of monthly events to bring people together for food and fun. The vision of the group is to create “a community where people work together to experience and celebrate life to the fullest.” This month’s event is sponsored in part by the Vermont Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, as well as Grace Cottage Hospital. Bring a potluck appetizer or dessert to share with your friends and neighbors, new and old! Volunteers will provide the main meal and beverages.
