The Anonymous People at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30 at the Latchis Theatre
The Brattleboro Retreat and Turning Point are partners in supporting individuals across Vermont in their long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. We are proud to co-present this film in cooperation with Vermont Recovery Network and the Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery.
Turning Point of Windham County, a recovery center in Brattleboro, Vermont, provides a safe, supportive gathering place and resources for people who are pursuing recovery. Turning Point is currently renovating and moving to a building in downtown Brattleboro to respond to the urgent need for recovery services.
It’s time to end the stigmas and silence. For too long, the stigmas about addiction have kept the voices of people in long-term recovery silent, and made it harder to get help. In early 2014 the Brattleboro Retreat launched a campaign inviting people to Stand Up to Stigma. See The Anonymous People at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 30 at the Latchis Theatre to learn how you can stand up for people in long-term recovery.
